Saucy Jack always looks good, but this statue is a particular treat. I love the butcher smock and cleaver, the disgusting rapacious sneer on his face – a far cry from the dapper “gentleman surgeon” of urban myth.
The presentation for this entire line was top-notch, but I especially love the bit of wall included with ol’ Jack here. It really conjures the image of him creeping through alleys of Whitechapel, looking for just the right moment to strike. Creepy! When a statue sends a shiver down your spine, you know it’s a good one.
