More knockoff Enchantimals from our dear friends at ONEST – creators of your deepest darkest fears made manifest. This is like a teen run of the Enchantimal line (with the Enchantimal heads slapped on top of the cheapest reverse engineered Monster High bodies you can imagine). As cheap as they are, I can’t help but love the weirdness of them all.
This trio gets a bonus point for including a rabbit girl which I do love. She’s cute! No backhand compliment or snarky joke, it’s a cute design! Of course, this doesn’t excuse the build quality, or explain why they were distressingly dirty when I got them out of the package, but I like to be nice where I can.
I have created a rich headcanon for Dawn. This is what I have named the poodle (???) of this batch. Her dress was particularly cheap (crinkling like cellophane to the touch) and her design just screams a particular kind of trashy. This is a being who lives on cigarettes and poorly attended drinks left at the bar. She has set several apartments on fire passing out with a lit ciggie but somehow walks away fine every time. She hasn’t worked in a decade, but she promises to pay you back next week – honest. She’s a disaster and the worst and I’m so glad I bought these dolls before they are inevitably delisted and memory holed.
