I promise, I tried so hard to like the New 52, but it let me down so hard. Then they changed everything again. I don’t mind it when continuities drift or characters get re-written over a matter of years. But you can feel the marketing departments teeming all over these constant giant EVENT series and shake ups. From the 2000s “Civil War” era and onward, every big brand has had a big giant reboot or paradigm shift every 4 or 5 years. It’s exhausting!
Comics are tough. I don’t read new ones anymore. Guess this is how you become grumpy and old.
