People get bent out of shape when you call a figure like this a doll. But let’s be honest here, he’s a little man in little clothes who came with a bunch of little accessories. He’s got a suit jacket, a bullet proof vest (with plastic strike-plate), and a little shirt and tie. How much different is his little earpiece from a pair of earrings? Barbie has a bracelet, Detective Chan has his handcuffs. It is goofy to insist on these differences.
I always wanted to like this doll more than I did. I loved the concept and I loved the undercover vibe. But the truth is the suit always fit like shit. He looks like he’s ready for Sunday Communion. He looks like he’s at an old SEARS photoshoot wearing a suit they found off the rack and are playing off just long enough to take the photos before hanging it back up. He just looks like shit. Sorry Michael.
